Cantors
Leaders of Song cantor at each of the parish’s Saturday 5:00 PM and Sunday 8:00 AM, 9:45 AM and 11:30 AM Liturgies.
Those willing to share their talents and gifts in this ministry learn and rehearse the music for each liturgy and are scheduled by the Director of Liturgical Music.

Choirs
The Parish has three choirs in which new members are always welcome:

Children’s Choir (grades 1-8)
-
Adult Choir (high school and older)
-
Resurrection Choir (all ages)
The Children’s Choir sings for one of our Christmas and Easter Masses each year. The Children’s Choir typically rehearses once a week during the seasons of Advent and Lent respectively.
The Adult Choir sings September through May, or as far as the Feast of Corpus Christi, whichever is last. Choir members rehearse on Wednesday evenings at 7:30 PM in the church.
The Resurrection Choir sings for funerals Masses at the request of the family of the deceased. The members of the Resurrection Choir support the bereaving family and friends by singing and responding to the prayers at the funeral Mass. There are no auditions and anyone is welcome to join. Members come as often as their schedules permit. Practice starts one half hour before the funeral Mass begins.
The choirs also sing at various parish feasts throughout the year.

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion
These men and women help distribute Holy Communion at the daily and weekend liturgies.

Lectors
Lectors are parishioners who share their gift of proclaiming God’s written Word at the parish liturgies. Those who feel called to share in this ministry should contact the parish rectory.

Liturgy Committee
This committee is a group of parishioners who meet monthly (on the 3rd Monday) to plan and schedule parish ministries and liturgies; including parish missions, Christmas, Holy Week/Easter, Maranatha (Advent Evening Prayer), and much more as well as preparing the church decorations for parish celebrations.

Musicians
These parishioners volunteer their time and talent to make our liturgies more beautiful by offering an additional musical dimension to the celebration of the Mass.

Rosary
Devotions in honor of Our Mother of Perpetual Help are conducted every Tuesday after 6:30 and 8:00 AM Masses. The Rosary is recited publicly on the first Saturday of the month for the Respect Life Apostolate prior to the 5:00 PM Mass.

Sacristans
Sacristans are parishioners who are willing and capable of setting up the sanctuary in preparation for Mass (chalices, purificators, ciboria, etc.) and cleaning up after Mass by putting away vessels, etc.

Servers
The Altar Servers assist at the Eucharistic celebrations of the parish on weekdays and weekends. Boys or girls in fifth grade or older are invited to volunteer as servers.
They are trained by the priests of the parish and are assigned to celebrations on a regular basis.

Ushers and Greeters
The parish ushers are those persons who exercise the liturgical ministry of hospitality. The ushers minister at regularly scheduled liturgical functions.
Their duties are to welcome the faithful as they enter the Church, to hand out bulletins, to seat people if needed, to answer questions, and to give directions.
They are responsible for the gathering of gifts and directing the flow of communion lines.
